Boys
Summer
- White short-sleeved collared shirt with the top button fastened.
- Official school tie.
- Grey socks.
- Standard grey flannel school trousers – legs may not be tapered.
- Black belt with a SMALL buckle.
- A sleeveless pullover may be worn.
- A long-sleeved jersey may only be worn under a blazer.
Winter

Girls
Summer
- Sky-blue short-sleeved St Catherine’s school dress, worn not more than 5cm above the knee when standing up straight or bending forward.
- White short ankle socks folded over once.
- A sleeveless pullover may be worn over the dress.
- A long-sleeved jersey may only be worn under a blazer.
Winter
- Black pinafore or black long pants, with a long-sleeved plain white collared shirt and the official school tie.
- Knee-length black socks with white stripes or black stockings (not sheer).
- Blazers must be worn.
- A long-sleeved jersey may be worn under the blazer.
School Uniform
Pupils are ambassadors of St Catherine’s School and are expected to look neat so that they can represent the school with pride. All clothing must be the appropriate size and in good condition.
Summer uniform must be worn during Term One and Term Three and winter uniform must be worn during Term Two.
Blazer
Official striped school blazer.
Blazers are compulsory during Term Two and for all formal functions eg Assemblies, Masses, Awards Ceremonies, etc.
Blazers are compulsory for members of the Executive throughout the year.
Blazers may be taken off during class but must be worn or carried over the arm and not over the shoulder when outside of the classroom.
Blazers must be worn over long-sleeved jerseys or shirts.
Jersey
Grade 8 to 11 pupils are to wear a black jersey or sleeveless pullover with white stripes, as supplied by stockists.
Long-sleeved jerseys may not be worn without a blazer.
Shoes
Standard black school shoes with laces or buckles. Shoes may not cover the ankles.
Scarves and gloves
Black school scarf with white stripes and plain black gloves may only be worn in winter.
Beanies
Beanies may not be worn with the school uniform.
Raincoat
Black raincoat or drimac are only allowed on rainy days.
House shirt
The official house T-shirt (green, red or yellow) depending on which house the pupil has been allocated to.
School tracksuit
St Catherine’s black and sky-blue tracksuit with pinstripe down the pants and school badge on the left of the top.
