Religion

St. Catherine’s is a Catholic school. All religions are welcome. We celebrate Mass regularly and all assemblies have a religious theme. The pupils attend Religion lessons three times a week.

Final Mass of 2008

29 October 2008

The whole school came together for the final Mass of the year. It was held in the quad outside the hall.

The primary school sat on the sunny side – very hot!

Fortunate high school – they got the shade.

Father Bugler from Alberton celebrated a lovely Mass for the school. His message was simple – be thankful!

Grade 7 Mass

24 October 2008

Each year the Grade 7’s from Catholic Schools across the East Rand meet for a combined Mass of Thanksgiving at the Benoni Catholic Church.

The Grade 7’s all ready for the Mass.

Thando and Michaela were the banner bearers for St. Catherine’s.

After the Mass there was time to interact with the pupils from the other schools.
